A Pottsville Victorian, Three Generations Later.
When the Brennan family called us about their Victorian on Mahantongo Street, the kitchen hadn't been touched since the 1960s. The cabinets were original, the countertops were cracked laminate, and the plumbing had been patched so many times it was more tape than pipe. Three generations had grown up cooking in that kitchen, and the family wanted it honored—not gutted.
We kept the layout, replaced every surface, installed custom cabinetry that matches the home's original trim profile, and brought in quartz countertops that will outlast the next three generations. The project took four weeks, stayed on budget, and the family had Thanksgiving dinner in it two days after we finished.
